What Do I Have To Provide?

All of the prices in this catalog are based on the assumption that
with your completed order form, (see page 15), you will provide
a ready to image electronic file prepared in a program we
support and according to our prepress guidelines found on
page 14 of this catalog.

What If My Digital File Is Incomplete?

We can still accept your order! After pre-flight, we will spend 10 minutes fixing mechanical errors we discover. Express Color does not assume any responsibility for proof reading or catching errors of a project’s verbiage. Pre-flight includes identifying technical errors only. If corrections require more than 10 minutes, we will fax you a detailed list of required corrections with a cost estimate to make the required corrections included. At that time, you can authorize us to proceed with corrections at the quoted price or you can make the corrections yourself and resubmit the file(s). See page 14 for more detailed information about our file submission policy.

How Long Does It Take?

If required, we usually send out proofs within one business day of receipt of your ready to image file(s). Files that require extensive corrections will take longer. After proof approval, printing can take as little as 2-3 working days for simple flyers to 5-9 working days for catalogs in large quantities. Folded cartons take 3-4 weeks from proof approval. You can hasten the turnaround for your job by submitting a properly completed order form and a ready to image electronic file. Time spent trying to get accurate instructions, confirmation of specifications, etc, is time we can’t spend actually producing your job.

Can I Get A Price For Something Not Shown?

We can easily provide a prompt, accurate quotation for custom jobs that require different papers, sizes, bindery or digital file preparation.
